The Company received, for the first time in April 2025, an “AA” rating under the globally recognized ESG evaluation index MSCI ESG Ratings.
About MSCI ESG Ratings
MSCI ESG Ratings is an index by MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International, USA) that evaluates companies worldwide from the perspective of environment, social, and governance (ESG).
It analyzes how well companies manage various risks and rates them on a seven-grade scale from the highest “AAA” to the lowest “CCC.”
Details of This Evaluation
In this evaluation, the Company’s corporate governance received high marks, particularly for:
- Independence of auditors
- Engagement with shareholders in the selection of directors
As a result, the Company’s rating was upgraded from “A” to “AA.”
Furthermore, we believe our strategy in renewable energy business was also positively evaluated.
Relation to the Medium-term Management Plan
In March 2025, the Company announced its new medium-term management plan,
“INFRONEER Medium-term Vision 2027.”
To respond to a changing business environment and diversified business domains,
we are maximizing the design philosophy of a company with a nominating committee and are further evolving toward the ideal governance system.
With forward-looking business strategies and strong execution, we aim to achieve sustainability and sustainable enhancement of corporate value.
