[Supplemental Report] Additional Record Regarding Company’s Response Following the Whistleblowing (Dismissal Notice)

April 24, 2025 – 10:36

From: Shunsuke Kimura shukku9998@gmail.com

To: Consumer Affairs Agency

Office of the Director for Whistleblower Protection and Collaboration

Thank you for your continued support. My name is Shunsuke Kimura, the whistleblower in this matter.

Following the supplemental notice submitted on April 18 and the reminder sent on April 24, I hereby notify you that on April 23, 2025, a formal “Dismissal Notice” was issued by Maeda Corporation, the subject of the whistleblowing.

This document is submitted as part of the evidentiary record.

Although this notice does not directly refer to the content of the whistleblowing and cites violations of work regulations as its basis, I consider this issuance to strongly represent a de facto form of “structural exclusion” in light of the company’s non-responsiveness following the whistleblowing, as well as the parent company’s official refusal to engage (Report No.9).

The dismissal notice (PDF) is attached as supporting material.

I would be grateful if your agency could recognize this matter as a structural issue related to the effectiveness and operational integrity of the whistleblower system, as part of your ongoing confirmation of internal system development.

Sincerely,

Shunsuke Kimura (Whistleblower)

Summary

On April 23, 2025, Maeda Corporation issued a dismissal notice shortly after the submission of the consolidated reports and the parent company’s rejection (Report No. 9). The whistleblower views this as a case of structural exclusion resulting from lawful and documented whistleblowing activity.
